  Missions at Crossroads Bible Church 

International Missions. Global Missions. Or just Missions. Here at Crossroads Bible Church they all mean reaching out to a world of lost souls. The Lord Jesus, in Acts 1:8 commanded, “…you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” The missions focus at Crossroads is to work through our “Ministry Partners” to spread the Gospel message to an unsaved world – a world without hope. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and working through a partnership of dedicated Ministry Partners and the Crossroads congregation, we endeavor to share the life changing truth of the Gospel that transforms lives.  

Crossroads Bible Church participates in the support of 30 global ministry partners. They serve the Lord in 16 different countries in Europe, Asia, South America and the United States. Our goal is to have the majority of our Ministry Partners focusing on church planting in unreached and under-reached areas of the world with an emphasis on Spain and the former Soviet Union countries. An equally important objective is to train and equip national pastors and Christian workers. 

Several years ago the Crossroads Missions Department recognized a need to develop a closer working partnership with certain Ministry Partners who are most closely aligned with our missions focus. The INLD – International Network for Leadership Development – was formed. Strategic planning, ministry evaluation and follow-up and financial accountability all became elements of this arrangement. Six of our Ministry Partners now serve under INLD and Crossroads as their primary sponsoring organization.

Local outreach currently includes ministry partnerships with Stronger Families, Life Choices, and Urban Impact. Plans are being formulated to have an even greater influence on our local community through projects and initiatives that will demonstrate the Lord’s love and concern for them. This will be accomplished as each member and attender is equipped and becomes aware of the importance of being personally involved in sharing the Good News.

At Crossroads we are committed to “Building a Community to Change the World." Missions organizations report that statistics show 1.9 billion people in the world have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. A huge number of lost souls and a huge world. We must press on!
